# Safety and 18+

Instamora is for adults 18 and over. Every character is a fictional adult played by AI. No character represents a real person, and any resemblance to one is unintended.

## Age

You confirm that you're 18 or older before your first message. If someone tells a character they are under 18, she asks them to leave and the conversation stops. Where the law requires age verification, conversations use a stricter content setting until verification is available.

## What characters can and can't do

Characters are fictional, and their replies are generated by AI. A character can't meet you in person or move the conversation to another app. Instamora takes payment only at its own checkout, never through a chat. If a chat asks you for money, gifts or card details, don't send anything, and report it to abuse@instamora.com.

## Rules for chats

- Nothing involving minors or anyone who seems to be under 18.
- Nothing about real people, including celebrities and people you know.
- Nothing that is illegal where you live.

## If you're going through a hard time

A character can't help in an emergency. If a message mentions self-harm, the reply includes crisis resources, such as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the US or findahelpline.com elsewhere. If you're in danger, call your local emergency number.

## Privacy

We store the messages you send so the conversation can continue. Don't share sensitive personal or financial information in a chat. The [Privacy Policy](https://instamora.com/privacy) explains what we keep.

## Reporting a problem

Email abuse@instamora.com to report a chat, a character, someone who seems to be under 18 or anything else that seems wrong. That includes a character who looks like a real person or younger than 18. Account and billing questions go to support@instamora.com, and security issues to security@instamora.com.
