Age Policy and Underage Reports

Adults only

Instamora is only for adults. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. If you are younger, do not use Instamora.

All Instamora characters are fictional adults, and each one has a stated age of 18 or over. If you think a character looks younger than 18, tell us at abuse@instamora.com.

How we check age

• Before you start chatting, we ask you to confirm that you are 18 or older. If you reach checkout first, we ask you there.
• Some places require a stronger age check before adult content, for example the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy and several US states. There, conversations stay non-explicit until we can offer an approved age check. If we add a check through an age-verification provider, we will name the provider in the Privacy Policy and keep only the result of the check.
• Instamora's app pages carry the RTA (Restricted to Adults) label, which most parental control tools recognize.

When a user may be under 18

• Our system checks every message. If a message, or an earlier message in the same chat, shows that the user is under 18, the character tells them that they are too young to be here and asks them to leave.
• From then on, every character gives that answer to every message, in that browser and on that account. The lock costs nothing and never leads to a sign-in or payment screen.
• We may close the account and delete its data, except records the law requires us to keep.
• Characters never state an age under 18, and our system removes replies that do.

Content involving minors

We do not allow any content that sexualizes minors, real or fictional, in any form. This includes age play, characters described as or acting like children, and school settings that suggest a minor. When we find such content, we remove it, lock the chat and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or to other authorities where the law requires.

How to report

If you believe someone under 18 is using Instamora, or you see content that may involve a minor, write to abuse@instamora.com. Please include:

• where you saw it: the page address, the character's name or a description;
• what you saw and when;
• how to contact you, if you want a reply.

Do not send us images of minors. You do not need an account to report. We handle these reports before all others and act right away.

Parents and guardians

If your child has used Instamora, write to abuse@instamora.com. We will close the account and delete its data. Parental control software that reads the RTA label can block Instamora on your child's devices.
